17-year-old Madiyar from the Almaty region is a kind, talented, and cheerful young man. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with a terrible disease, and since then, he has been fighting for his health and life, reports infohub.kz.

Madiyar loves football, music, and spending time with friends, and he is a role model for his younger brother. At the end of 2024, the family faced a severe ordeal. After numerous tests, the teenager was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

"We immediately started treatment in Turkey. Madiyar has endured months of intense struggle: chemotherapy, radiation therapy, constant check-ups, and hospitalizations. Despite the pain and challenges, he bravely underwent treatment and continued to believe in recovery. Our fight paid off, and remission was achieved. For our family, it was a true miracle. We began to make plans for the future, cherish each day, and believe the disease was behind us," said the young man's mother, Marzhan Serzhanova.

But the disease has returned. In June 2026, during a routine check-up, doctors detected a relapse. Madiyar now urgently needs treatment at a clinic in Turkey again. Doctors are ready to start anti-relapse therapy, which offers a chance to save his life. However, the cost of examinations, hospitalization, and further treatment far exceeds the family's financial means.

"During the previous treatment, we exhausted all our savings and resources. Now we are in a situation where our child's life depends not only on doctors but also on the help of compassionate people. As a mother, I cannot accept the thought that my son might lose his chance at life due to lack of funds. Madiyar has already beaten the disease once. He has proven that he is ready to fight and not give up. Today, he needs support to continue this battle. Any amount of help will be a huge contribution to his recovery and bring us closer to our main goal: saving our child's life," added Marzhan.
