A minimum score of 50 on the UNT only allows participation in the competition for admission to Interior Ministry universities, but does not guarantee enrollment. Applicants must undergo additional selection stages, reports infohub.kz.
As explained in Polisia.kz, 50 points on the UNT is the minimum threshold to compete for admission to higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, this result alone is not sufficient for enrollment.
The Telegram channel "News of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan" reports that candidates are evaluated across several areas.
"Admission to educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is carried out on a competitive basis. Along with UNT results, the results of medical, physiological, and psychophysiological selection are also taken into account," the police statement said.
After that, the applicant must pass all required stages. The final decision depends on the competition results and the number of points scored.
"Thus, for an applicant wishing to enter an educational institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the goal is not only to score 50 points, but also to achieve the highest possible result on the UNT and meet the established selection requirements," the Ministry concluded.
