A24 has unveiled the first trailer for the dramatic thriller "Prime Time," starring Robert Pattinson, as reported by infohub.kz.
The film is set for a worldwide release on September 25.
Set in 2006, the story unfolds when the TV show "To Catch a Predator" was at the height of its popularity. Host Chris Hansen and his crew conducted sting operations to expose individuals suspected of attempting to meet minors.
Pattinson plays Hansen himself. The cast also includes Merritt Wever ("The Walking Dead"), Skyler Gisondo ("Meet the Fockers: New Chapter," "Shrek 5," "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb"), and singer Phoebe Bridgers.
The film is directed by Lance Oppenheim, with Pattinson also serving as a producer.
The show aired on American television from 2004 to 2007 and drew a large audience. However, a major scandal later erupted around the project. In 2006, one of the suspects, assistant district attorney Bill Conradt, took his own life during a police operation. Subsequently, a lawsuit was filed against the show's creators, and the program was soon canceled.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" grossed $639.6 million worldwide after its second weekend. While it's too early for final conclusions, the adaptation of the ancient Greek epic ranks seventh in box office among all films of 2026.
