The branch of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC in the Ulytau region is increasing support for regional businesses. Since 2023, the branch's loan portfolio has grown from 9.4 to 11.6 billion tenge. Today, projects in various agribusiness segments receive financing, from livestock and crop farming to agricultural processing and food production. Just in the last month, the branch financed two projects in the Zhanaarka district: the farm 'Berikbol' and LLP 'AL-AN2020', reports infohub.kz.
The farm 'Berikbol' is engaged in breeding, fattening, and sale of farm animals. It is one of the largest fattening farms in the Zhanaarka district. Currently, it houses 470 head of cattle and 64 horses. The farm has 1,280 hectares of agricultural land and provides permanent employment for 18 people. It has its own production base and operates its own slaughterhouse.
A significant part of 'Berikbol's activity is purchasing young stock from local peasant farms. A large share of farmers in the district sell their young animals to this farm for subsequent fattening and further sale.
The second project is LLP 'AL-AN2020', an enterprise operating in the Zhanaarka district since 2020. It produces a wide range of bakery, flour confectionery, and culinary products. Production runs at its own bakery. Finished products are sold through its own supermarket and supplied to legal entities under contracts. Among consumers are kindergartens, organizations, and other corporate clients. The bulk of sales go to individuals. Financing under the 'Agribusiness' program for the acquisition of fixed assets will allow the enterprise to develop its production base and increase output.
"The Ulytau region was established in 2022, and it was important for us to build a full-fledged agribusiness support system here from the start. The ACC branch began operations in 2023. Since then, the loan portfolio has grown, the client base has expanded, and financing volumes have increased. At the same time, we work not only with large projects but also with small farms and entrepreneurs who need financial support to develop their businesses. This approach allows us to cover various areas and needs of our clients," said Meiram Kudaibergen, director of the Agrarian Credit Corporation branch in the Ulytau region.
Financing for spring field work has also grown noticeably. In 2023, under the 'Ken Dala' program, projects worth 20 million tenge were financed in the region. In 2026, under the 'Ken Dala-2' program, 10 clients received financing totaling 706 million tenge. The allocated funds helped expand the sown area in the Ulytau region to 9.7 thousand hectares. Meanwhile, the total sown area in the Ulytau region in 2026 is 33 thousand hectares.
Today, the branch continues to finance projects in livestock, crop farming, and agricultural processing. Through credit resources, regional enterprises get the opportunity to upgrade their production base, support current operations, and increase production volumes.
