11 automobile plants in Kazakhstan have switched to artificial intelligence control. The system monitors safety and assembly quality, preventing emergencies. This was announced by Minister of Industry and Construction Ersaiyn Nagaspayev at a weekly government meeting, reports infohub.kz.
According to the minister, there are 11 enterprises producing cars, buses, trucks, and special equipment. "In accordance with the head of state’s instruction, work is underway at these enterprises to introduce artificial intelligence and digital technologies," Nagaspayev said.
Kazakhstan has already created an AI-based situational center for managing production safety. It allows detecting risks, emergencies, and deviations, as well as taking measures to eliminate them. "The intelligent platform analyzes data coming from video surveillance cameras, sensors, and information systems," the minister added.
In addition, analytical systems have begun to be used at auto plants to control the quality of welding work. Earlier, it was reported how Kazakhstan is developing its own automotive industry.
