Former head of the State Legal Department of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Aidar Zharylgasov, has received a new appointment — he has become Vice Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The corresponding decree was signed by the country's government, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to infohub.kz.

Recall that just a few days ago, on October 2, the head of state, Qasym-Jomart Toqaev, dismissed Zharylgasov from the post of head of the State Legal Department of the Presidential Administration. Thus, the personnel move occurred within one week.

According to information published on the Akorda website, Aidar Tulegenovich Zharylgasov was born in 1978 in the city of Semey. In 1999, he graduated from Semey State University, and in 2001 from the Adilet Higher School of Law.

From 2001 to 2007, Zharylgasov worked in the Ministry of State Revenue and the Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2007 until April 2019, he worked in the Presidential Administration, successively holding positions as expert, consultant, inspector, and head of the sector of the State Legal Department of the Presidential Administration.

From April 2019 to January 2023, Zharylgasov served as deputy head of the State Legal Department of the Presidential Administration.

On January 6, 2023, by order of the head of state, he was appointed head of the State Legal Department of the Presidential Administration.

Aidar Zharylgasov was awarded the Order of Kurmet in 2020, as well as the Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2013.
