Air Astana is temporarily suspending flights to Dubai, citing the deteriorating situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the broader region, according to Orda.kz.

The suspension runs from July 21 through August 31. Until July 21, flights will operate as scheduled to transport passengers.

Travelers can receive a full refund at the point of purchase. They may also rebook tickets for a later date free of charge or choose an alternative international destination served by Air Astana.

Earlier, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised against travel to the Middle East.
