Flying to one of the world's capitals is becoming easier from Astana: Air China has increased the frequency of flights from Kazakhstan's capital to Beijing to six times a week, reports infohub.kz.

According to the press service of Astana International Airport, since the beginning of August, Air China has increased the frequency of flights from Astana International Airport to Beijing to six times a week. Three flights operate directly on the Astana-Beijing route, and three more on the Astana-Xi'an-Beijing route.

"With the increased flight frequency, passengers from Kazakhstan's capital have more opportunities to plan trips to China. Now travelers can choose the most convenient flight option depending on their plans: take a direct flight from Astana to Beijing or travel to the Chinese capital via Xi'an," the statement said.

In addition, the press service notes that the increased number of flights also allows for more flexible travel dates for both tourist and business trips.

Flights on the Astana-Xi'an-Beijing route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On the Astana-Beijing route, flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
