Air France has officially denied rumors that the sauna in its business lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport was closed due to inappropriate passenger behavior, reports infohub.kz.

The spread of misinformation began after a post on the aviation blog Live and Let's Fly. The blog's author, Matthew Klint, claimed that during his visit to the lounge, a manager hinted that the facility was closed because of guests' actions "they shouldn't be doing there." This information quickly went viral on social media, and the sauna was publicly dubbed a place for trysts.

In response to these speculations, Air France representatives stated that the sauna had been closed since September 2025. The main reasons cited were the low popularity of the area among passengers and the aim to standardize services across all business lounges at the airport. Currently, clients have access to a Clarins spa and shower cabins.
