According to the Akmola Region Police Department, officers identified minors violating traffic rules on mopeds. The footage shows passengers perched on the drivers' shoulders.

"On September 12, at around 9:00 p.m., as part of the operational and preventive measures 'Attention, Children!' and 'Teen Control,' district police inspectors from Police Station No. 18, while monitoring surveillance cameras, identified teenagers riding mopeds. It was established that the minors were violating road safety requirements and performing dangerous stunts, posing a threat to their own safety and that of other road users," the department said.

In response, administrative proceedings were initiated against an 18-year-old driver for operating a vehicle without state registration plates, violating passenger transportation rules, and breaching traffic regulations. Administrative proceedings were also initiated against a 17-year-old teenager for violating traffic rules. The moped documents were in order.

"A preventive talk was held with the teenagers. Measures were taken in accordance with the law for the identified violations. Police urge parents not to ignore their children's interest in mopeds and other vehicles. It is important to regularly conduct explanatory conversations with minors about complying with traffic rules and refraining from dangerous maneuvers. Children's safety largely depends on the attention and supervision of adults," law enforcement officials reminded.
