In the city of Aksu, Pavlodar region, a routine domestic dispute between two acquaintances led to criminal liability and community service, reports infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Department of the Criminal Executive System for Pavlodar region, the incident occurred in the courtyard of a house on Auezov Street. A resident of Aksu accidentally met his acquaintance, and a verbal argument broke out between them. Wanting to continue the confrontation, the man suggested they go behind the nearby garages.
There, driven by personal animosity, he struck the acquaintance multiple times, causing moderate bodily harm. As a result, the victim suffered a closed rib fracture and a broken nasal bridge.
By the verdict of the inter-district court of Aksu, the man was found guilty and sentenced to 300 hours of community service. Currently, the convict is registered with the probation service of Aksu and is serving his sentence by participating in city improvement works.
