A scandal erupted in Aktau after a video surfaced showing a man threatening a woman with rape. The incident occurred on the street and was captured by witnesses. The footage was published on the Instagram page 112 aktau, reports infohub.kz.
In the first clip, a man is seen holding a woman in a white jacket, trying to calm her down while she struggles. Passersby attempt to intervene in the conflict. In the second video, the man continues his aggressive behavior, shouting threats at the woman, including the phrase: "I will rape you."
The third clip shows the woman trying to flee from her pursuer, who is now shirtless. A car driver comes to her aid, stopping and allowing her to get into the vehicle. However, the man tries to prevent this, prompting the driver to get out of the car to protect the woman.
The press service of the Police Department of Mangystau Region told NUR.KZ correspondent that all parties involved in the incident have been identified and detained. They have been taken to the Aktau City Police Department and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case has been opened. The department noted: "All circumstances of the incident are being established, and the necessary investigative actions and procedural measures have been scheduled."
