A medical center in Aktau has been fined 605,500 tenge for using unregistered medical devices, and its license suspended for a month, according to infohub.kz.
The Administrative Offenses Court in Aktau heard the case against the medical center, which had used unregistered medical devices. The inspection was conducted by the Department of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control of the Ministry of Health in the Mangystau Region following a patient's complaint.
In her complaint, the patient stated that on May 18, 2026, she visited the medical center for a medical service, which was provided. After the procedure, her health deteriorated. The inspection confirmed the use of unregistered medical devices.
The court considered the circumstances, the center's full admission of guilt, and mitigating factors, reducing the fine by 30%. Consequently, the medical center was fined 605,500 tenge, and its medical license was suspended for one month.
The court also ordered the confiscation and destruction of the medications involved in the violation. It is noted that the court's decision has not yet entered into force.
