In Aktau, a developer has identified those responsible for a fire at a children's playground, claiming that two young girls were involved. The damage from the incident is estimated at nearly 5 million tenge, according to infohub.kz.

The fire at the playground occurred on October 11 in the afternoon. The regional emergency situations department confirmed the information, stating that trash was burning.

According to the developer, the play complex, swings, and shock-absorbing surface were damaged in the fire.

Representatives of the limited liability partnership "Bolashaq Ozen" said that law enforcement identified two girls involved in the incident.

"We have investigated the arson. Two little girls set fire to a mattress lying on the playground. We have now prepared a statement from the legal entity to law enforcement agencies seeking compensation for damage and property destruction. We will hold the parents accountable," the company said.

The developer also added that the rubber surface of the playground is not a material that ignites easily or quickly. Additional exposure, such as the use of flammable substances, would have been required for it to catch fire.

According to the partnership, the cost of the playground is 10,887,500 tenge, and the damage from the fire is estimated at 4,890,000 tenge.

"We build this primarily for people, and people keep breaking everything," the company said.
