An investigation into a shooting at a pub in Aktau, which left a visitor injured, has been completed, and the case has been sent to court for consideration. The incident occurred earlier, and now the case materials have been submitted to the court, according to infohub.kz.
According to the prosecutor's office of Mangistau region, the city prosecutor's office of Aktau has sent to court a criminal case against a local resident accused under Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hooliganism with the use of firearms).
According to the case materials, a conflict arose between the accused and one of the pub visitors, during which the accused used a firearm and shot the victim, causing bodily harm.
As a result of the pre-trial investigation, the criminal case has been sent to court for consideration. The sanction of this article provides for imprisonment for a term of five to seven years.
In accordance with the principle of the presumption of innocence, a person is considered innocent until their guilt is proven by a court verdict that has entered into legal force.
Earlier, it was reported that in one of the establishments in Aktau, a man was shot directly in the face from a signal launcher "hunter's signal," causing injuries. The incident was captured on video. Police opened a criminal case on charges of hooliganism.
