According to Kazhydromet, favorable meteorological conditions are expected in most Kazakh cities on April 29, reports infohub.kz.

Forecasters warned of unfavorable meteorological conditions (UMC) in Aktobe and Almaty, as well as during nighttime in Atyrau, Ridder, and Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions are a combination of short-term weather factors (calm, light wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful pollutants in the surface layer of the atmosphere. When UMC occur, air quality may deteriorate in populated areas.

One of the key factors determining pollution levels is the synoptic forecast, including wind, precipitation, humidity, and temperature.
