Five-month-old Aiman from Aktobe has been fighting for her health since birth: the girl was diagnosed with congenital anal atresia, which required medical intervention. Later, doctors discovered a mass in her liver and gave a terrifying diagnosis — hepatoblastoma, a malignant liver tumor. Aiman is now at a clinic in Istanbul, where she is undergoing examination and treatment, reports infohub.kz.
The girl's mother, Aktoty Abdisalamova, said her daughter faces a long and very difficult journey: two courses of chemotherapy, complex liver resection surgery, reconstructive surgery to restore the anus, further treatment, examinations, and constant medical monitoring. "We have not given up," she says.
The cost of treatment and necessary expenses is about 75,000,000 tenge. For a family with another child, this is an unaffordable sum. Only the father is working now, and all funds go toward Aiman's treatment.
"We, as parents, are ready to do everything possible for our daughter. But now we need help. Aiman is still very small. She did not ask for this illness. She just wants to live. She wants to grow, laugh, play, and live an ordinary childhood. Every 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 tenge is real help for Aiman on her path to treatment. We still need to raise about 43 million tenge. Please help our Aiman. Help her get a chance for a happy childhood," the mother concluded.
