In Aktobe, medical workers have been held administratively liable after official documents from a local hospital were found at an unauthorized dump, reports infohub.kz.
The inspection was triggered by a video posted on social media, showing a resident of Aktobe filming garbage being unloaded in a steppe area outside the city.
Among the construction waste, official documents belonging to one of the medical institutions were found, including several logbooks.
Police established that the hospital's responsible officials had violated the rules on the improvement of populated areas. Administrative protocols were drawn up against them.
District inspectors also held a preventive conversation with the staff about compliance with improvement rules. After police intervention, the medical institution eliminated the unauthorized dump on its own.
Police urged residents and organizations to comply with environmental requirements and dispose of waste only in designated places.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that a video appeared on social media showing a discarded coat of arms, allegedly found by a resident of the Tupkaragan district in the Mangystau region. The man did not take the find, citing the risk of a fine, but the akimat of the Mangystau region said that after inspecting the dump and the surrounding area, the state symbol was not found.
