The press service of the Aktobe Regional Police Department told about a driver who, during social media monitoring, was spotted demonstrating far from exemplary behavior behind the wheel. On one of the city's main avenues, the young man deliberately violated traffic rules, creating a threat to other road users. He also turned on his camera to record his "exploits" and posted the video on social media.
Apparently, the driver hoped to get likes and views. However, instead of internet fame, he got real attention from the police. The offender's identity was established, and the young man was brought to the police station. As a result of the check, 14 administrative protocols were drawn up against him for traffic violations. His car was impounded.
Now, instead of comments under the video, the offender will have to deal with administrative proceedings and the consequences of his own "content."
The police remind: the road is not a place for filming extreme content, competing for views, or trying to prove your "coolness" to subscribers. Any deliberate violation of traffic rules can cost much more than a few seconds of fame on social media. Likes will disappear, views will be forgotten, but responsibility for breaking the law remains.
