A new trend is gaining momentum in Kazakhstan's online space: users are filming "auditions" for the roles of random characters we encounter every day. This is reported by infohub.kz.
Both bloggers and ordinary users have picked up the initiative. Most often, they "audition" not for fictional images but demonstrate types found in everyday life: a passerby, a clothing seller, and others.
One user's "audition for the role of an Almaty resident on any given day" gained particular popularity — the number of views significantly exceeded her account's usual figures. In the frame, the girl stood in a doorway, which is known to be recommended for safety during an earthquake.
Actor Aidar Karimbayev "passed" the casting for the role of a millennial — the man was "cast" already during the preparation process, so expressive was his way of wearing sportswear.
Journalist Askhat Niyazov expressed his opinion through the trend: he filmed an "audition" for the role of Defense Minister Dauran Kosanov, who was dismissed after a tragedy during military exercises in the Caspian Sea.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle wrote about a new phenomenon in social networks worldwide — Posting Zero. This is the name given to a trend in which users continue to actively scroll through their feeds but increasingly rarely share events from their own lives with followers.
