Kazakhstani singer Alex Lim, who won the New Wave 2025 contest, has shared details about his family and posted a touching photo with his wife and child, according to infohub.kz.
The artist emphasized that he treasures his closest ones immensely, as they hold the first and foremost place in his life.
"You know perfectly well that what is most precious to me always stays behind the scenes — my family. Not because I'm superstitious (maybe just a tiny bit), but because family is what you cherish most in the world. Not your voice, not fame, not the stage, but family," NUR.KZ quoted him as saying.
He also spoke separately about his wife and her support. By his own admission, music has always been and will always be a part of him, but it truly came alive only after he met his beloved.
"Back when I was just starting out, when hardly anyone believed in me, she was there — my other half, who never doubted me. And now, when I have the stage, the music, and people who enjoy my work, she is still by my side, and I want it to stay that way forever. I want to say just one thing. I love my wife and daughter madly. My family is my fortress. Everything else — music, videos, images — is just part of my job," the singer concluded.
