Kazakh performer Ali Okapov, son of People's Artist of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbaeva, has responded to fans asking whether he performs at tois and corporate events, infohub.kz reports.
The artist shared his answer on Instagram. According to him, such questions surprise him.
"As long as I can remember myself as a solo artist — and I've been on stage for almost 15 years — I've performed everywhere since my very first year, because I simply don't divide the stage. Honestly, it makes no difference to me whether it's a toi for 50 people or an open-air show for 50,000. The task is always the same. To sing and dance, to give people a good mood. To lift their spirits or, on the contrary, to spoil their mood (laughs — editor's note). In short, to give emotions. So private events — tois, anniversaries, corporate parties — are a completely serious part of my work, and I treat it wonderfully. First of all, it's my income, and on top of that you get such a charge of emotions when you're close to people, something you don't get at concerts," Ali Okapov said.
