Kazakh boxer Zhanibek Alimkhanuly has once again called out Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Briton Hamzah Shiraz, posting a series of Instagram stories, reports infohub.kz.

In the first post, Alimkhanuly mentioned both opponents, writing: “Canelo or Shiraz? Let’s see which of them will be braver!”

Later, he specifically addressed a potential fight with Saul Alvarez. “Some fans seem to wonder if Zhanibek can beat Canelo? If Canelo dares to fight me, I’ll say it straight—I’ll swallow him whole! God forbid, I can confidently say I know my level and his level! Kazakhs are not weak! We are a nation that takes its place in professional boxing! We are here to change the course of events in the super middleweight division!” the boxer said.

Earlier, Alimkhanuly had already addressed Alvarez regarding his move to that weight class. Additionally, the organization made an official decision on the Kazakh athlete’s appeal: he was stripped of his title, and the interim champion in his weight was elevated to full world champion status.
