In Almaty's Bostandyk District, a large-scale modernization of the multi-apartment housing stock has been completed under the "Igilik Bostandyk" initiative, with 272 million tenge in private investment allocated to renovating facades and roofs, according to infohub.kz.

The announcement was made by Azamat Beskempirovich Kaldybekov, akim of Bostandyk District, at the regional communications service.

On Rozybakiev Street, 250, the renovation of a 141-apartment residential building has been completed. The district akimat coordinated the attraction of 250 million tenge in private investment, fully relieving both residents and the local budget of financial costs. The building's facade structures have been completely updated with modern thermal insulation panels, and artistic contour lighting has been installed to highlight the building's silhouette in the evening.

"The modernization of housing along our main streets creates a unified architectural style for Almaty. Thanks to the attracted investments at Rozybakiev, 250, we not only updated the building's exterior but also improved its energy efficiency," emphasized Azamat Kaldybekov.

At the same time, the district addressed dilapidated roofs without collecting fees from residents: in the Koktem-3 microdistrict, builders used 15 million tenge in attracted funds to carry out a major restoration of 750 m² of soft roofing on building No. 9, replacing the insulation layer and sealing ventilation shafts. On Nazarbayev Avenue, 237, 7 million tenge in sponsorship funds were used to overhaul 320 m² of waterproofing, completely resolving the leakage problem before winter.
