15 bus routes to be rerouted in Almaty from July 15

Starting July 15, Almaty will temporarily change the routes of 15 bus services, the city's transport holding company announced, as reported by infohub.kz.

Road repairs

Route 211
Due to road repairs in the Alma-Arasan microdistrict and the temporary closure of the section to the checkpoint "Alma-Arasan village", from July 15 until the work is completed, the terminus of route 211 will be moved to the "Request Stop" stop.

Additionally, due to construction and installation work on the "Construction of the western sewage collector in Almaty" project on Bekesheva Street (from Abdildina Street to Abay Avenue), from July 15 the routes of buses No. 14, 22, 26, and 44 will be temporarily changed.

Route 14
Southbound: Abay Avenue – Mamyr Street – Medeubekov Street – Tolebekov Street – Zhandosov Street – Bekesheva Street – Abdildina Street – then as per current route. Northbound: Abdildina Street – Bekesheva Street – Zhandosov Street – Tolebekov Street – Medeubekov Street – then as per current route.

Route 22
Southbound: Medeubekov Street – Tolebekov Street – Zhandosov Street – then as per current route. Northbound: Zhandosov Street – Tolebekov Street – Medeubekov Street – then as per current route.

Route 26
Southbound: Alatau Avenue – Abay Avenue – Mamyr Street – Medeubekov Street – Tolebekov Street – Zhandosov Street – then as per current route. Northbound: Zhandosov Street – Tolebekov Street – Medeubekov Street – Mamyr Street – Abay Avenue – Alatau Avenue – then as per current route.

Route 44
Southbound: Medeubekov Street – Tolebekov Street – Zhandosov Street – Bekesheva Street – Abdildina Street – then as per current route. Northbound: Abdildina Street – Bekesheva Street – Zhandosov Street – Tolebekov Street – Medeubekov Street – then as per current route.

Changes due to Tole bi Street extension

Due to construction and installation work on the project to extend Tole bi Street and temporary traffic restrictions on the section from Ashimov Street to Alatau Avenue, from July 15 the routes of buses No. 15, 27, 76, and 118 will change.

Route 15
Northbound: Ashimov Street – Rayymbek Avenue (turnaround) – Rayymbek Avenue – then as per current route. Southbound: Rayymbek Avenue – Ashimov Street – then as per current route.

Route 27
Northbound: Alatau Avenue – Sabdenov Street – Ashimov Street – then as per current route. Southbound: Ashimov Street – Sabdenov Street – Alatau Avenue (turnaround) – Alatau Avenue – then as per current route.

Route 76
Eastbound: Altyn Orda Street – Alatau Avenue – Sabdenov Street – Ashimov Street – then as per current route. Westbound: Ashimov Street – Sabdenov Street – Alatau Avenue (turnaround) – Alatau Avenue – Altyn Orda Street – then as per current route.

Route 118
Westbound: Ashimov Street – Sabdenov Street – Alatau Avenue (turnaround) – Alatau Avenue – Abay Avenue – then as per current route. Eastbound: Alatau Avenue – Sabdenov Street – Ashimov Street – then as per current route.

Changes due to repairs on Akan Sery Street

Due to medium repairs of the road surface on Akan Sery Street (from Seifullin Avenue to Sholokhov Street) and a complete traffic closure from July 15 until the work is completed, the routes of buses No. 30, 73, 96, 102, 135, and 138 will be temporarily changed.
