Doctors have provided an update on the condition of a passenger who survived a collision between a Mercedes and a Suzuki in Almaty, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Almaty Public Health Department, a woman born in 1991 was brought to City Clinical Hospital No. 7 at 4:05 a.m. on July 27 after the accident on Ryskulov Street. She was a passenger in the Suzuki.
The victim sustained polytrauma, including multiple fractures and soft tissue injuries. Emergency diagnostic and treatment measures were performed, and fractures were stabilized. She is currently in the intensive care unit in serious condition.
The crash occurred overnight in the Alatau district of Almaty. The driver of the Suzuki and one of its passengers died at the scene. Another passenger from the Suzuki and the driver of the Mercedes were taken to the hospital with injuries.
