In Almaty, traffic will be temporarily restricted on Tole Bi Street on September 6 due to a sports event, reports the website infohub.kz.
The city administration announced on its Telegram channel AlmatyJoly that the GT Sport Fest sports festival, dedicated to Almaty City Day, will take place on September 6. In connection with the event, vehicle traffic will be temporarily limited on a section of Tole Bi Street.
It is reported that from 00:00 to 23:00 on September 6, traffic will be completely closed on Tole Bi Street from Nazarbayev Avenue to Abylai Khan Street.
"Temporary restrictions are introduced to ensure the safety of participants and spectators, as well as for the organization and conduct of the festival. Drivers are asked to plan their routes in advance and take into account temporary changes in the traffic scheme," the administration warned.
The administration added that the event will bring together about 1,000 amateurs and professional athletes. The festival program includes 3x3 streetball, esports, breaking, BMX, and an auto show.
