Today, July 17, the demolition of an illegal extension began in Almaty by court order, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Almaty Urban Planning Control Department, the extension at 249/1 Rozybakiyev Street is being demolished. An unscheduled inspection found that the owner had built the structure without permits.
“Administrative measures were taken against the owner and an order to remedy the violations was issued. The materials were then forwarded to the court. By a ruling of the specialized inter-district court for administrative offenses, the extension is subject to demolition,” the department said.
Demolition of the structure began today with the involvement of bailiffs from the city's Justice Department.
