A 40-year-old man suspected of illegally storing and distributing synthetic drugs has been detained in Almaty. During operational and investigative activities, police seized over 400 packets of an unknown substance, the origin of which will be determined by an expert examination, according to the website infohub.kz.
The arrest took place in the Alatau district. According to police, "during a personal search, they found dozens of packaged packets. More than a hundred similar packages were seized from the suspect's car."
During a search at the suspect's residence, law enforcement officers found substances, electronic scales, packaging materials, and other items presumably used for packaging. Additionally, "in five caches set up across the city, police discovered and seized over 300 more packets of the substance, which have been sent for expert analysis," police added.
