A modern multiprofile hospital operating to South Korean standards will be built in Almaty. The large-scale project was presented to Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqaev during his state visit to Seoul, the website infohub.kz reports.
The project was initiated by Andrey Shin, head of the Shin-Line group of companies, and Kim Bu Sop, CEO of Hyundae Hospital. They presented the concept of the future medical center to the head of state.
According to them, a high-tech medical center is planned for Almaty. It will introduce innovative diagnostic and treatment equipment, adapt internal processes to the model of leading South Korean clinics, and provide continuous training and internships for Kazakh doctors at Hyundae Hospital.
"Korea has one of the best healthcare systems in the world, and our task is to bring these technologies and standards to us, to Almaty," Andrey Shin emphasized at the meeting.
Kim Bu Sop, in turn, noted that the clinic will operate under strict Korean quality and safety standards. He also announced plans to introduce the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies and promised to organize continuous training for Kazakh medical professionals.
Recall that during the visit, the Kazakh company Shin-Line LLP and the Korean clinic Chung-Ang University Healthcare System Hyundae Hospital signed a memorandum of understanding.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that a modern cancer center would be built in Almaty. It will be equipped with a robotic operating unit, a molecular genetics laboratory, and an automated drug preparation system. This will enable cancer to be detected in its early stages.
