On August 14, the Central Stadium in Almaty will host a concert by Ye (Kanye West). City services have prepared for the event and arranged convenient transport for attendees, reports infohub.kz.

After the concert, 60 free shuttle buses will take guests home. They will wait near the stadium and head in six directions: Almaty Arena — 10 buses; Raiymbek Batyr / Alatau metro station — 10 buses; Almaty-1 railway station — 5 buses; Orbita — 5 buses; Zhuldyz microdistrict — 10 buses; Almaty International Airport — 10 buses.

"In addition, public transport and the metro will operate with increased frequency. The Baikonur metro station will close to passengers at 21:00. Concertgoers are advised to use the Abai and Mukhtar Auezov Theatre stations. Metro service will be extended until at least 01:00, and if necessary, until 03:00," the statement said.

Starting at 16:00, traffic near the stadium will be gradually restricted. Sections of Baitursynov, Satpayev streets and Abai Avenue will be closed.

Police officers will regulate traffic on site. Residents and guests are advised to plan their routes in advance and use public transport.

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Kanye West (Ye) performed in Portugal at the Algarve Stadium, drawing about 34,000 spectators. Prior to that, Kanye's tour dates were canceled in the UK, France, Poland, Italy, and the Czech Republic, and Australia denied the artist an entry visa.
