In Almaty, a man has been brought to administrative responsibility after allegedly touching a young boy's genitals on public transport. The incident occurred on bus No. 129, reports infohub.kz.
A user of the social network Threads under the nickname malikam_yusupova published a post describing the event. According to her, a woman and a child boarded the bus. The boy sat next to a man, while the mother sat in front. At first, the woman thought the man was the child's father, as he began playing with him. However, she later noticed the man behaving strangely: touching the child's bottom and then his genitals.
The eyewitness decided to approach the mother and ask if the man was the child's father. The woman replied negatively. Then the post's author told the mother what was happening. She also filmed the man on video. When he got off at her stop, she confronted him and threatened to file a report. In response, the man, smiling, said he was just playing, while repeatedly touching the boy's genitals.
The Almaty Police Department responded to the publication. The department stated that officers from the Alatau district police department conducted an investigation. The man's identity was established, and he was brought to the police station. As a result of the investigation, the man was brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
