As part of a working tour of the Nauryzbai district, Almaty Mayor Darhan Satybaldy visited the upgraded production facility of the state utility company Almaty Tazalyk. The city head inspected specialized equipment, reviewed working conditions, and met with company employees, reports infohub.kz.

The 2-hectare production facility is located on Baisultanova Street. It employs 352 people and houses 66 units of specialized equipment, including 14 combination road machines.

The facility's grounds received 12,500 m² of asphalt concrete pavement, a storage area for anti-icing materials was built, landscaping was carried out, and the facility's infrastructure was upgraded.

During the meeting with workers, Darhan Satybaldy emphasized that the quality of utility services directly depends on employees' working conditions.

"We must create decent conditions for workers. How can you demand quality performance of duties if the necessary conditions have not been created? First of all, we need to respect the work of people who take care of our city's cleanliness every day," the mayor said.

Special attention was given to the maintenance of city streets, the organization of cleaning, and the quality of utility services.

"Cleanliness must come first. Cleanliness, order, and landscaping shape the overall impression of a city. When we visit another country or city, the first thing we notice is how clean and well-kept it is. This affects the perception of the environment and people's attitude toward it. Where there is no cleanliness, there is no order. Therefore, this work must be carried out constantly and systematically," noted Darhan Satybaldy.

Darhan Satybaldy also added that the head of state has set the task of bringing Almaty into order. In this regard, work on landscaping and maintaining cleanliness will continue, and city utility services must ensure its systematic and high-quality implementation.

Today, the fleet of the state utility company Almaty Tazalyk numbers 1,017 units of equipment. For winter cleaning, 830 units are provided, including 700 all-season machines and 130 units of specialized winter equipment. Another 187 units are used in the summer period.
