A resident of Almaty has complained about indecent behavior by individuals at a children's playground near a building at 9/11 Stankevicha Street, where, according to her, people daily wash, shave, drink, and relieve themselves, and, as she claims, engage in sexual acts, while children continue to play on the playground, reports infohub.kz.
The complaint was published on the Telegram channel Kris.p.media. The post noted that after all this, children still play on the playground.
The press service of the Almaty Police Department told a correspondent that police have taken measures regarding the unacceptable behavior at the children's playground in the Turksib district.
"During social media monitoring, police officers identified a video recording in which a man shaves and removes his clothes on the territory of a children's playground. His identity has been established. For his actions, he has been held administratively liable under Part 4 of Article 434 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The collected materials have been sent to the administrative court for a procedural decision," the police assured.
The Almaty Police Department reminds that public spaces, especially children's playgrounds, are intended for the safe recreation of children and families. Behavior that violates generally accepted norms of public order and offends public morality is unacceptable.
"Every such incident that is assessed in accordance with the established legal procedure entails response measures provided by law," they warned citizens.
