Traffic restrictions will be introduced in Almaty this weekend on two sections of city roads — Abylai Khan Avenue and Brusilovsky Street. This is reported by infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Almaty akimat, from 08:00 on October 10 to 20:00 on October 11, traffic will be closed on the section of Abylai Khan Avenue from Raiymbek Avenue to Mametova Street. The restrictions are related to the implementation of the LRT construction project.
"Warning signs will be placed on the section under repair. We ask residents to plan their routes in advance," the akimat warned Almaty residents.
In addition, temporary traffic restrictions will also affect a section of Brusilovsky Street, where medium road repairs are planned. From 22:00 on October 10 to 07:00 on October 11, vehicle traffic will be completely closed on the section from Tole Bi Street to Raiymbek Avenue.
"The timing of repair work may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and other factors affecting the technological process of repairs," the akimat noted.
