Ahead of the central match of the 19th round of the Kazakhstan Premier League between Kairat and Ordabasy, Almaty police appealed to fans to maintain order and not give in to provocations, reports infohub.kz.

Police officers, National Guard servicemen, and representatives of other services will ensure security at the stadium and surrounding areas. Surveillance cameras will also be used to monitor the situation.

Police warned that aggressive behavior, use of prohibited paraphernalia, foul language, and attempts to provoke conflicts could lead to administrative liability.

Timur Nogaybaev, head of the Almaty Police Department's Public Security Administration, urged fans to support their teams civilly: "We are pleased to welcome in Almaty all fans who have come to support their teams. Our common goal is to make this match memorable for its beautiful play, vivid emotions, and mutual respect. We ask everyone to maintain public order, not to succumb to provocations, and to remember that a true fan is distinguished by a culture of behavior, respect for the opponent, and sincere support for their team. For its part, the police will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of participants and spectators of the match," he emphasized.

Police expect the match to proceed without incidents, and spectators to remember it for the teams' performance rather than conflicts in the stands.

The match will take place on Sunday, July 26, at 7:00 p.m. The league leaders will take the field: Ordabasy tops the standings with 43 points, while Kairat follows closely with 42 points. The outcome could shift the balance in the race for first place.
