A civil dispute over a property complex with a market value of 127,676,000 tenge in the Almaty Region has been resolved without a court verdict — the parties signed a mediation agreement, infohub.kz reports.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Almaty Region courts, the Ili District Court heard a case filed by a plaintiff against a defendant concerning the procedure for disposing of property.
During preparations for the case, the court explained to the participants the advantages of mediation and the possibility of settling the dispute through negotiations and mutual concessions.
Instead of continuing the court proceedings, the parties chose the path of negotiation and independently determined terms acceptable to both sides. In the end, a compromise was reached: the starting price for the sale of the property was set at 110 million tenge, the minimum price at 80 million tenge, and the period for joint sale was set at 9 months.
Each party received the right to independently seek potential buyers and, if necessary, to engage real estate agencies. Thus, the parties to the dispute not only agreed on the fate of the contested property but also retained the ability to influence the process of its sale.
In connection with the approval of the mediation agreement, the plaintiff was refunded a state duty of 638,380 tenge.
The court's ruling has entered into legal force.
