In total, 460 million tenge were allocated for these purposes. The funds were fully transferred to the parents' card accounts.
In addition, in the new school year, 133,000 schoolchildren were provided with free hot meals. Meals are organized directly at educational institutions.
In total, about 356,000 children study in Almaty schools. This year, 32,922 children went to the first grade, of which 30,046 went to public schools and 2,876 to private ones.
