Almaty's largest football stadium will be commissioned in March 2028, according to infohub.kz.

Nurbol Nursagatov, head of Almaty's construction department, said work at the site is ongoing, and the arena will meet UEFA's fourth-category requirements. This will allow it to host international matches and major sporting events.

According to the project, training fields, facilities for athletes and teams, fan zones, and a landscaped area will be built next to the stadium. The authorities also promise to develop road infrastructure to ensure convenient access for spectators.

The stadium is being built along the Kuldzha and Talgar highways. It will seat 45,000 spectators, and the complex will cover about 32 hectares. Construction was first announced in August 2025, with an initial capacity of 35,000.
