In Almaty, from September 4 to 13, traffic will be restricted on a section of Tsentralnaya and Taldy streets, from Kakimbek Salykov Street to Zhangir Khan Street. The reason is urgent emergency repair work on damaged power transmission lines, reports infohub.kz.
As explained by Alatau Zharyk Kompaniyasy JSC, the need for the work is due to damage to 220 kV power lines No. 2353 and No. 2363, which disrupted the ring scheme of the 220 kV network that ensures reliable power supply to the city of Almaty and the Almaty agglomeration.
To restore a reliable power supply scheme, the company's specialists need to carry out emergency repair work on the damaged cable section in the area of Tsentralnaya and Taldy streets as soon as possible.
The work will be carried out around the clock, with all necessary safety measures in place. Residents and guests of the city are asked to plan their routes in advance and understand the temporary inconveniences caused by the necessary work.
