Police have held an Almaty resident accountable for using obscene language and making offensive remarks about Pavlodar on social media. The offender was identified during social media monitoring, the website infohub.kz reports.
After reviewing the posts, police officers quickly established the woman's identity. She turned out to be 41-year-old Almaty resident Shynar Akayeva.
The offender was held administratively liable for petty hooliganism on social media. By a court decision, she was fined 86,500 tenge.
"Police remind that unlawful content, including content published on social media and during live streams, does not go without legal consequences," law enforcement warned.
Recall that loud music with profanity from cars also carries a fine. Broadcasting songs with profanity from a car or portable speakers in public places is classified under Article 434 of the Administrative Offenses Code of Kazakhstan — "Petty Hooliganism." Such a violation carries a fine of 20 MCI (86,500 tenge) or administrative arrest of up to 15 days. A repeat violation can result in arrest for 20 days.
If the loud music was played at night, the driver's actions may additionally be classified under Article 437 of the Administrative Offenses Code of Kazakhstan — "Violation of Silence." This refers to the period from 22:00 to 09:00 on weekdays and from 23:00 to 09:00 on weekends and holidays.
Earlier, "Kursiv" reported that a court fined a 39-year-old Kyzylorda resident for obscene language during a live stream on TikTok.
