Despite the failure of the feature-length documentary about Melania Trump, Amazon has decided to revisit the story of the US first lady. This time, viewers will be presented not with a one-off film but a full-fledged documentary series, reports infohub.kz.

The new project was announced by Melania Trump's senior adviser, Mark Beckman. According to him, the series will offer a "completely different perspective" on the first lady's life and will cover the first months of the new administration of the 47th US president.

While the previous film covered only about twenty days of Melania's life, the series promises a deeper look at her daily life, family, and professional activities. The premiere is scheduled for the fall of this year.

However, the first documentary was a flop. According to US media, Amazon MGM spent about $75 million on acquiring rights and promoting the film, but worldwide box office receipts totaled less than $17 million. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film received only 10% positive reviews. Critics called it "superficial" and "unbearably boring."

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that an unusual art installation appeared on the National Mall in Washington: a nearly four-meter-tall golden statue depicting Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein in the famous pose from the movie "Titanic."
