A new medical facility has opened in the Mugalzhar district of the Aktobe region, built with funds recovered from illegally withdrawn assets. The clinic is fully equipped with modern medical equipment and will serve about 1,400 local residents, according to infohub.kz.
As the regional administration clarified, the ambulatory clinic is designed to accommodate up to 45 patients at a time. The building is furnished with all necessary furniture and medical equipment. The total cost of the project exceeded 316 million tenge. The contractor was the company "Region-Service-Aktobe" LLP.
Regional officials noted that the opening of the clinic is a significant event for the villagers. "This will provide rural residents with accessible and high-quality medical care aimed at preserving the health of the local population," the official statement reads.
Local resident Gulnara Smagulova confirmed that the facility has already been put into operation and has begun accepting patients. "We express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the construction. (...) We also thank the doctors and nurses who work here. This is a very important and joyful event for our village," she shared.
Earlier, a regional center for traumatology and orthopedics opened in Almaty, uniting the medical services of the metropolis and the region. It is based at the City Clinical Hospital No. 4. In addition, since the beginning of the year, dozens of new specialized departments have appeared in Kazakhstan in seven areas, including cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and pulmonology.
