Russian ballerina Anastasia Volochkova has revealed a complete breakdown in her relationship with her 21-year-old daughter, Ariadna. According to her, communication with the young woman is "blocked," and she was unable even to wish her a happy birthday, reports infohub.kz.
The 50-year-old artist admitted she cannot even deliver flowers to her daughter. "Imagine, I don't even know where to send Arisha flowers... The relationship is blocked," NUR.KZ quoted Volochkova as saying.
The ballerina recalled that 21 years ago, three days after giving birth, she was already in the theater's ballet studio rehearsing the ballet "La Bayadère." She performed that production exactly a month after her daughter's birth at the Yuri Grigorovich Theater. "My daughter's birthday was very happy for me. But unfortunately, my loved ones have turned her against me so much that I can't even wish her a happy birthday," Volochkova said.
She also stated that she does not intend to force anyone to love her. "Unfortunately, the attitude of my blood relatives toward me has become mired in lies, falseness, and hypocrisy. But that is their choice," the artist emphasized.
According to Volochkova, the story of her family relationships will form the basis of her dramatic play "Mirror," which is currently being created.
