A themed passenger train named “Astana – esіrtkіsіz qala!” has started operating in Kazakhstan’s capital, running daily on the Astana–Burabay route. The project is implemented under the “Law and Order” program, reports infohub.kz.

According to the police department’s press service, the train cars are decorated with preventive inscriptions and thematic materials urging people to refuse drugs, lead a healthy lifestyle, and abide by the law. Contacts of anonymous services are also provided, where citizens can report drug trafficking incidents.

Police noted that by traveling between Astana and Burabay, the train will serve as a mobile preventive platform. Hundreds of passengers will use it daily, ensuring that preventive materials regularly reach a wide audience and remind them of the value of a healthy life, personal responsibility, and rejection of drugs.

Preventive work has also been deployed at the “Nurly Zhol” railway station. The station hosts interactive zones and preventive areas, sports and demonstration performances, and anti-drug videos are shown on information screens. Police explained that the station is one of the busiest places for residents and guests of the capital, making preventive work there particularly important.

Now, station passengers will regularly see thematic materials, and the train will continue its preventive mission along the Astana–Burabay route.
