Fans of the Argentine national team have launched a petition on Change.com demanding a replay of the 2026 World Cup final. They expressed dissatisfaction with the refereeing, which they believe affected the outcome of the match. The petition, addressed to FIFA, has garnered over 60,000 signatures, according to infohub.kz.

The petition drew a response in Spain, whose team defeated Argentina in the final. Spain's Transport Minister Oscar Puente commented ironically on the fans' initiative. "They want to play another 120 minutes so they can finally take a shot on goal," the politician said.

Earlier, another petition related to the Argentine team emerged, demanding the exclusion of Argentina from the 2026 World Cup. It garnered over 23 million signatures in less than a week.
