In California, an armed man was detained near a golf club owned by Donald Trump. The incident occurred on the eve of the American president's visit, reports the website infohub.kz.
According to local law enforcement, federal agents working undercover noticed a suspicious individual on August 2. As police stated, "this person was walking around the golf course, taking photos and videos, and apparently monitoring security planning activities."
The detained individual was identified as 38-year-old Janine John Tele, who was already under investigation on suspicion of robbery. At the time of arrest, a magazine with cartridges was seized from him, and a loaded pistol and ammunition were found in his car. At the suspect's home, authorities also found weapons, a bulletproof vest, and several notebooks with "disturbing statements."
