The U23 World Rowing Championships continue in Duisburg, Germany, where Kazakhstan's Artyom Matusevich has advanced to the final stage of the competition, reports infohub.kz.

The Kazakh representative successfully competed in the semifinal of the men's lightweight single sculls. In his heat, he finished second with a time of 7 minutes 07.75 seconds, earning a spot in the decisive round of the world championship.

The final race in the men's lightweight single sculls will take place on July 26, where Artyom Matusevich will compete for medals at the U23 World Rowing Championships.
