In a 24th-round match of the 2026 Kazakhstan Premier League (KPL), FC Astana secured a 3-2 away victory over Atyrau, reports infohub.kz.

The game took place at the Turkestan Arena, where Atyrau were the nominal hosts. In the first half, the capital club built a lead: Bauyrzhan Islamkhan scored in the 13th minute, and Stanislav Basmanov doubled the advantage in the 42nd.

Early in the second half, Atyrau pulled one back through Djordje Pantic in the 47th minute. However, 19 minutes later, Marin Tomasov restored the two-goal cushion. Islamkhan, who had already scored, provided his second assist of the match.

The hosts managed another goal only in stoppage time, with Enrique Devens finding the net in the 90+5th minute, but it did not change the outcome.

Following this result, Astana sit third in the league table with 42 points, while Atyrau are 12th with 20 points.
