A violation of public order rules has been uncovered on the outskirts of Kazakhstan's capital: the driver of a Howo concrete mixer washed out leftover concrete mix directly inside a water protection zone, fouling a public area. The news was reported by infohub.kz.
The incident was caught on video. According to NUR.KZ, citing the Astana Police Department, the driver has been subjected to measures provided for by law — he was held administratively liable under Part 1 of Article 505 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses.
"The driver of a Howo concrete mixer washed out leftover concrete mix directly inside a water protection zone, which led to the pollution of a public area and a violation of established public order rules. In this connection, the measures provided for by law have been taken against the driver. He has been held administratively liable under Part 1 of Article 505 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses," the statement said.
The capital's police recalled that public areas, including water protection zones, are not intended for storing construction waste, dumping garbage or washing construction equipment.
"Such violations harm the environment and directly affect the sanitary condition of the city. In this regard, raid operations will continue," the Police Department added.
It is noted that since the beginning of this year, more than 34,000 offenders have been held administratively liable for polluting public areas and violating public order rules.
